Gleicher Manufacturing has been converting and die-cutting polyurethane bumper materials since their inception. In that time, we have continued to refine and engineer new and cost-effective methods of converting these products to our customers demanding requirements. As experts in the field, we can guide you through product design, material selection and production methods and provide you with precisely what you need for your product application.

Bumper Products are pressure sensitive, adhesive-backed, polyurethane shapes. They are made from a durable, polyurethane polymer that is non-plasticized and will not stain or mar finishes. With a unique, high coefficient of friction, they are highly slip resistant. Long aging and permanently resilient, they have a low compression set and are highly resistant to abrasion.

Uses. You can use bumpers anywhere that you want to eliminate sliding, slipping, scratching, nicking, noise, slamming or vibration. Here are some typical applications:

Feet on the base of electronic devices, computers, desk top accessories, speakers, keyboards, small appliances and displays.

Spacers for circuit boards, drawers and sliding doors.

Protectors on doors, chairs, walls, decorative surfaces.

Pressure Sensitive Adhesives. Pressure sensitive bumpers apply quickly using peel and stick, high tack adhesives. Choose from either rubber or acrylic adhesive systems depending on the substrate you are attaching. They require no drilling, screws, glue, holes or tools.

1. Molded 3M™ Bumpons™. As standard or custom shapes, molded Bumpons™ are available in up to four standard colors and clear or can be color matched to your specifications.

2. Resilient Rollstock. To maximize your design flexibility, these polyurethane compounds are available as resilient rollstock. Bumpon™ Resilient Rollstock is available in three durometers, black, brown or clear with acrylic or rubber adhesive systems. Standard thicknesses ranges from 1/32" to 1/4" with custom thickness and colors available.

Fabrication & Die-Cutting. Bumper products can be fabricated into circles, squares or custom shapes; put up in rolls, multi piece pads or individual pieces; and precision slit/scored configurations that are assembly ready for your applications.
